Purestorm has been great, its a fantastic medium for new models and togs to get together and produce some great work, it really is the best site out there.
But a rise in retardedness (not a real word, but im past caring lol) with amateur photographers is getting under my skin. im sick of getting abusive emails and messages from them, im sick of getting timewasters who lead me on with a shoot but never seem to book in a date, and I don’t understand why they contact models who mark their profile “professional” only to offer then a tfp shoot or 10 pounds an hour for explicit work.
ill admit I don’t have the patience to spend 30 emails back and forth to explain the who,what,where,when,rate with a Tog, only for them to “change their mind”
or deal with the same togs mass email 6 times with a work offer, only for them to never reply once.
as for the abusive emails…. Yes, they come from purestorm members too…. lesson learnt- girls, don’t EVER give them your email address, what ever they claim they “can’t discuss on PS” is bullshit. if they can’t talk about the shoot on PS, it’s not worth talking about!
I have worked with some fantastic UK photographers, and many of them amateurs, serious about getting a better picture each time. if only everyone had the same drive and dedication to their photography!! thank you so much to those ive worked with, I will always consider a reshoot with you.
