what an AMAZING night! i was so,so fortunate to have been invited as a guest of a friend of mine, it really was an honour.
we started out at the hotel, which was apparently a fave of the rolling stones back in the day- there were pics of them there to prove it! and the room was hideously fantastic! it was all dark wood panels and big leadlight old english windows. lol there was even a crazy fireplace with all these weird old “fire tools”, i guess youd call them, like pokers and stuff. and this thing that looked a lot like a pie oven or something, but was actually what they used to put hot coles in to warm up the bed a million years ago. anyways, enough of the boring stuff… guess what else was in the room?! a freaking hidden staircase! that lead no where. but oh well, still very cool. then i got a bit excited, and started drunkenly ranting about Nicholas cage and the movie “national treasure” and how in rooms like this one theres all sorts of hidden compartments, and then we found it. above the fireplace, a wooden panel with hinges on the side, but with this big stick nailed in blocking it from opening. we reckon the rolling stones have hidden a drug stash from the 70s in there. but we are probably wrong.

cool? i think so!! haha i love this sort of thing!! the panel above the fireplace to the left of the pic has hinges on one side
anyways, on to the fun stuff you really want to hear about!
the car picked us up and we drove to the london palladium (prob spelt that wrong lol) just off regents street, where we walked the red carpet with all the english celebrities, it was super fun! then we got a glass of champage and were seated in the theatre to watch the award ceremony. i was really hoping for Louis Theraux to win an award, cos i love him and want to have his babies, lol, but he didnt
cut a long story short, after the awards we lined up to get in the bus which would take us to The Natural History museum of London. now im going to show my uber geeky side, because i was SO freaking excited to be going there, for dinner of all things! i love natural history stuff and all that geeky science type history stuff… so it really was a highlight, probably of my life! sad huh?

and of ALL people to be standing behinde me for the bus? Louis Theraux!!!! too bad he was with his wife, or i totally would have got him to sign my butt. he sat on the seats next to me on the bus too,i really struggled to contain my excitement, afterall, i was on their turf, i could be a loser fangirl and start taking pics or asking for autographs, but it was hard not to stare haha.
the museum was amazing!!! free champage being poured by cute guys all night, walking around, and food. omg. the food was fantastic! the music was a bit strange, entertaining, but a bit odd. naturally Tim Burton and his wife were super interested in them, its was a school orchestra set up with a cello and clarinet players, and one crazy ass singer, it wouldnt surpise me in the slightest if they are in the next tim burton film- you heard it here first! lol
so anyways, heres some pics of the afterparty at the museum!

yes i am posing in front of a dinosaur. it happens. lol. i was smashed in that pic…
i desperatly need a new camera, judging by the quality of these pics. shitballs. maybe it was just because of the flash and stuff?
